History of growth in the Columbus, Ohio, sewerage system.
Wastewater Treatment in Columbus, Ohio: Jackson Pike Sewerage Treatment Plant was originally built in 1909 but was put online full-time in 1937 as a combined sewerage treatment plant. Prior to that date it was only operated part-time. The plant was basically a sedimentation plant when it was first put into operation. Jackson Pike Sewerage Treatment Plant is still in operation along with a second treatment plant called Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant. |
